Aim:
To equip aged care professionals with the knowledge and ethical foundation required to uphold the Aged Care Code of Conduct, ensuring respectful, safe, and rights-based care in alignment with the 2025 Quality Standards.
Course Description:
This course explores the Aged Care Code of Conduct and its integration into everyday practice under the 2025 Aged Care Quality Standards. Through ten focused lessons, learners will examine each element of the Code — from respecting rights and diversity to preventing abuse and promoting accountability. Real-world examples, reflective exercises, and compliance guidance help participants translate ethical principles into consistent, compassionate care.
